0004 Contract Closeout Specialist (Junior)

OCT Consulting is an SBA-certified, 8(a) small business management and technology consulting firm that supports Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.

Responsibilities and Duties

We currently have an immediate opening for a Junior Contract Closeout Specialist to provide contract closeout support services to FEMA. This is a hybrid position.

We are seeking qualified candidates with 1-3 years of direct Federal contract closeout experience as either a Federal government employee or contractor in the Contracting Series 1102 or equivalent, as either a Contract Specialist or Procurement Analyst. Must have experience closing out fixed price government contracts. Closeout experience with cost type contracts is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Must meet the minimum experience levels below:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 1 - 3 years of federal contract closeout experience with government contracts as a government employee and/or contractor employee

  • Must have experience, knowledge, and understanding of Federal contract closeout processes and procedures

  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. The investigation will involve a credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency check

Salary: $60,000-70,000 annually commensurate with education, experience, etc
