What You Will Do :

• Develops, updates, and publishes program/organizational materials, design and distributes them for internal and external audiences

• Maintains a vibrant and active social media presence on selected platforms to create a substantial online presence

• Has experience in graphic design using the Adobe creative suite

• Maintains the program and organizational websites so they remain compelling and current, develops communications plans and manages internal program/organizational communications, supports media relations efforts including development and distribution of story ideas, press releases and media interviews

• Responds appropriately to media inquiries which may include developing key talking points for the leadership team and supports writing/tracking/reporting for grants

What You Will Need :

• Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS Public Trust

• Bachelor's degree in mass-communications, business, or related field

• FIVE (5) or more years specialized experience in graphic design, social media strategy, communications strategy, or other relevant work

What Would Be Nice To Have :

• Experience creating and designing the following: Infographics/one-pagers, logos/brand identity, presentations, reports

• Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Pro, Photoshop, etc.)

• Experience creating animations/short videos

The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
