Meta Communications Associate Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia

Summary:

Meta is looking for a Communications Associate Manager to join our Strategy & Insights team. This team works across all teams at Meta and provides insightful, analytical reports that have a direct impact on decisions made within the company. This person will be responsible for monitoring news cycles and developing analysis and reports for Meta’s most pressing issues. A key part of this role is keeping teams informed with real-time news updates, summaries of social media conversations, and media coverage trends, themes, and overall comparative analysis.

Required Skills:

Communications Associate Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Working with stakeholders across the Communications organization to design impactful reporting strategies, aligned to their priorities

  2. Monitoring news cycles

  3. Developing analysis and reports around Meta’s most pressing issues

  4. Keeping Meta leadership informed of real-time news updates, including key themes & narratives across both traditional & social media

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 4+ years of experience monitoring press and stakeholder relations

  2. Demonstrated experience in crafting clear and concise reporting deliverables

  3. Experience producing high-quality output under severe time constraints

  4. Experience leveraging organization skills & attention to detail

  5. Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Public Relations, Broadcast, or related field

  1. Evidence of interest in Meta's products and policy issues

  2. Experience using data platforms to monitor media volume and analyze social media conversation

  3. Experience working at a public affairs agency

  4. Experience working at a technology company

Public Compensation:

$91,000/year to $136,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
