We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Aegis Combat Systems Program Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC. This position requires a strong background in leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to adapt to dynamic and fast-paced environments.Job Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for developing briefs to Senior Naval leadership on a wide variety of Aegis combat system fleet readiness issues with minimal oversight/guidance.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:* Assist the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) 1F Major Program Manager/Deputy Major Program Manager (MPM/DMPM) in developing briefs to Senior Naval leadership on a wide variety of Aegis combat system fleet readiness issues with minimal oversight/guidance* Attend high-level briefings and taking detailed notes for later briefings to the MPM/DMPM on fleet combat systems issues* Maintain a schedule of upcoming combat systems fleet readiness related briefingsMinimum Qualifications:* A Bachelor’s degree in any general field of study with a minimum of five 5 years of Navy fleet experience in an AEGIS Combat Systems role* Former Junior US Naval Officer with an honorable discharge* Experience leading or supporting a major US Navy program initiative* Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing teams* Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: * Ability to research program information and adapt and re-use relevant information from other briefs* Experience working with SharePoint and ConfluenceClearance Requirements:* Current and active Secret Security clearancePhysical Requirements:* Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.* Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.* Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.* Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.* Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.* May be asked to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment.
