My client is currently seeking to add a Staff Accountant to the Loan Operations team to support the company’s operations and continued growth. This a market leading lending institution and the opportunity will be hybrid. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for contributing to all aspects of the loan operation department’s functions by onboarding new loans, monitoring loan activity, reviewing legal documents associated with investments, reviewing loan related cash activity, supporting monthly closing processes, and others. Requirements

Qualifications

· Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting

· One to five years of relevant work experience

· Familiarity with secured loans and loan level accounting

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel

· Solid understanding of financial statements, finance and accounting

· Organized and attentive to detail

· Ability to multi-task

· Willingness to work and learn in a fast paced environment

· Experience with Broadridge Sentry is a plus

· CPA, or demonstrated progress in pursuing CPA is a plus
