Project and Financial Management Associate

What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will be responsible for managing technical and audit related projects as part of the Cybersecurity & Digital Trust (CDT) team, as well as supporting on-going financial management processes related to budgeting, forecasting, and actuals rationalization. You will help develop and report periodic project and financial indicators relating to project objectives, risks, costs and trends. You will apply both Agile and standard project management methodologies in the development, initiation, planning, execution, control and closing of projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of projects, including scope management, schedule management, resource management, financial management, and risk and issue management.

  • Partner with technical leads to identify key work products, ensure cross-functional alignment, and execute plans to meet project goals.

  • Support existing financial management processes, including budget preparation and allocation, expense monitoring, financial forecasting, and financial reporting

  • Communicate effectively and possess strong critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical, and presentation skills.

  • Manage competing timelines and prioritize critical tasks.

  • Champion collaboration and work effectively on cross-functional teams.

Must Have:

  • Project management experience leading all aspects of projects - scope management, schedule management, resource management, financial management, and risk and issue management and using a diverse set of methodologies (Agile, Scrum, DevOps)

  • Highly motivated, collaborative, works effectively under minimal supervision and places priority on the successful completion of team goals

  • Works successfully in ambiguous scenarios, thinks holistically, collects, digests and assembles information to enable meaningful business analyses and decision-making

  • Possesses learning, technical agility, and can breakdown topics/issues into actionable plans for team execution

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

OR

Associate’s degree and 4 years of project management experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 6 years of project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Jira experience

  • Miro experience

  • Financial management experience

Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) – preferred

  • Certified Project Manager - preferred

  • Agile Certified Practitioner - preferred

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and gap/fit assessment skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams

  • High degree of initiative and self-motivation.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully.

  • Team-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goals

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
