Description We are offering a unique opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Warwick, Rhode Island. The primary function of this role is to facilitate and ensure the effective management of our accounts receivable processes. The successful candidate will be joining a team in the telecom industry, where they will be expected to process billing, collections, and reconciliations to the general ledger and accounts receivable reports.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively process billing, collections, and reconciliations to the general ledger and accounts receivable reports

• Collaborate with customers and store managers to resolve discrepancies

• Undertake clerical duties, including data entry and filing of monthly statements

• Prepare deposits and apply cash

• Reconcile accounts and schedules

• Reconcile bank reserve statements for assigned stores

• Assist with internal and external audits

• Process daily, weekly, and monthly reports

• Maintain a courteous demeanor and provide excellent customer service to customers and co-workers

• Perform other duties as requested by management. Requirements • Proficiency in Billing procedures.

• Proficient in Collections, specifically in the consumer sector.

• Demonstrated ability in Data Entry.

• Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

• Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.

• Knowledge of accounting software and databases.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field preferred.

• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable role is desirable.
