The Payroll Specialist will be responsible to oversee and manage the payroll processing for
several countries in EMEA, collaborate with the payroll vendor/s and direct the work of the
team members supporting these particular countries.
Main responsibilities and tasks:
Payroll and service delivery management (85%)
- Ensures timely and accurate data submission to the payroll vendor/s, according to the
agreed process and timeline
- Plans and assigns the activities according to the payroll calendars, ensuring proper
resource utilization
- Monitors the case volumes and other case related metrics and SLAs, for the Iron
Mountain team and for the vendor.
Drives high customer satisfaction
Service delivery excellence: constantly reviews the existing processes and procedures,
-identifies gaps and improvements and makes recommendations for change
- Makes sure that all processes are documented and reviewed
regularly
Vendor Management (15%)
- Supports the EMEA Payroll Manager in the activities related to vendor management -
monitoring of the vendor performance, services reviews etc.
Requirements:
● 1-3 years experience in Payroll, Finance or HR Operations with cross country exposure
● Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Payroll operations (in-house or vendor side)
● Background in working with HRIS, preferably Workday, as well as case management tools, ideally ServiceNow.
● Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build strong partnerships with key stakeholder groups
● Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations that require sound decision making
● High degree of comfort with change, with the skill to easily shift priorities to meet business needs
● Strong analysis, problem solving, proactive root cause analysis, customer interfacing and conflict resolution skills.
