What you will do:

We are looking for a dynamic web solution architect to join our digital platforms team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and building web applications that run SAP.com and other core websites. You will work with a globally distributed and diverse team whose mission is to delivery world-class web solutions for SAP.

Your core responsibilities will be:

1. Technical architecture

2. Technical planning & specifications

3. Solution blueprinting and road mapping

4. Technical delivery and follow-through

5. Research and Innovation

You will report to the head of development & engineering for Digital Platforms within the Demand Generation organization of Corporate Processes and Information Technology (CP&IT).

You will evaluate business requirements and work with your team to propose a solution. You will create detailed designs for implementation.

You will be the go-to person to discuss technology and solution options for business challenges.

Our team is made up of some of the best technologists in the field all with a desire to deliver world class web solutions. We are a delivery unit; we spend more time coding than building slides. We love to research new technologies, to innovate, and to look at new ways to amaze our customers.

We make each other better by sharing knowledge and challenging each other as technology evolves and the team matures.

Core job requirements:

1. Minimum of five years of experience as a web solution architect working with modern front-end frameworks, web content management systems, design systems, and web services.

2. Deep experience building web applications using Adobe Experience Manager from on-premise to cloud to edge-delivery services

3. Background in full-stack web application development

4. Proficient in DevOps CI & CD

5. Expert in cloud architecture and deployment patterns

6. Solid understanding of web security and compliance

7. To have a desire to keep learning and be creative.

8. Proficient communicating in English; secondary language is a plus but not required
