The Data Specialist for Radiometer is a key member of our Data and AI team, staying at the forefront of automating business processes through digitalization and playing a pivotal role in our strategic initiative to enhance data-driven decision-making across the company. This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside in Poland and have the legal authorization to work in the country.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Design, develop, document and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure utilizing a suite of Microsoft cloud and on-premises services primarily based on Microsoft technology stack and Azure Databricks.

• Mentor and guide team members on data engineering best practices.

• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing.

• Ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable data solutions to support business decisions.

• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.

• Continuously optimize data pipelines for performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with a solid foundation in engineering best practices and design patterns.

• Strong experience in designing and developing scalable, reliable, and efficient data platforms.

• Knowledge of data engineering principles, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferably you also have:

• Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow, Prefect or Dagster.

• Experience in creating products within BI, Machine Learning Models, or other related functions.
