ReSound Senior Cloud Architect in Warsaw, Poland

Are you a cloud enthusiast with the expertise and passion that rivals a Microsoft MVP? We are seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to lead our cloud computing strategy, encompassing cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring. You will oversee application architecture and deployment in cloud environments, leveraging your deep knowledge of cloud computing and technology systems. If you have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a knack for sharing knowledge, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities

Implement our Cloud Strategy “You built it, you run it”: Implement our flexible and development-focused cloud strategy and drive the cloud adoption process.

Provide cloud consultancy to our development teams: Regularly assess cloud solutions and suggest optimization options.

Ensure security & compliance: Collaborate with CISO/DPO team and IT security team to ensure cloud privacy and compliance.

Assist on issues: Help address technical issues promptly and professionally together with our development teams.

Application refactoring: Provide guidance on legacy application refactoring.

Innovate and transform: Team up with the Enterprise Technology Architect to identify, design, plan and implement cloud-based solutions that meet the company's tactical demands and strategic goals.

Technical Skills

Cloud Expertise: Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms and services, primarily Azure with common knowledge about AWS, and Google Cloud.

Design Patterns: Strong understanding of software design patterns.

Programming Proficiency: Good craftmanship and expertise in multiple modern programming or scripting languages.

DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies.

Tech Savvy: Up-to-date knowledge of emerging and existing technologies.

Non-Technical Skills

Communication: Ability to explain risk, reward, and complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Persuasion: Strong ability to persuade and contextualize technical decisions.

Strategic Thinking: Capability to think strategically, develop plans, and coordinate execution.

Business Acumen: Understanding of business requirements, functionality, and maintenance needs.

Problem Solving: Capability to propose elegant solutions to complex problems.

Leadership: Ability to lead and influence stakeholders within the organization.

Requirements

Educational Background: bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a relevant field.

Experience: 3-5+ years of experience designing, executing, and supporting IT cloud solutions.

Quality Focus: Strong commitment to delivering quality work with a positive attitude.

Cloud Expertise: Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current trends.

Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex cloud reports to management and other IT development partners.
