Citigroup Project Manager (fixed term contract) in Warsaw, Poland

Operations Project Manager will lead efforts to structure, plan and execute required changes to global Wealth Operations organization to deliver various operational and business-driven initiatives.

The role will support and represent Wealth Operations Head in detailed analysis, planning and execution effort conducted in collaboration with COO Office, Product, Control Functions and Operations teams.

The project manager will ensure operational request intake process is up to the Wealth standards, working closely with stakeholders across organization.

Key to success in the role is the ability to blend business analysis & project management discipline with ability to engage all required stakeholders. This role will require significant amount of communication and coordination across number of teams within the region, but also with global partners. The role will involve interfacing with key senior stakeholders and internal clients across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with all stakeholders to identify the actions necessary on Operations side to drive various initiatives

  • Take up and fulfil action points agreed on stakeholder meetings, including but not limited to: meeting minuting, flow preparation, exception documentation and risk framework mapping.

  • Contribute to managed projects by identifying, managing and escalating issues, risks and dependencies as appropriate, while working with the various teams in order to define necessary solutions and mitigation plans

  • Track and follow up on project and initiative plans, ensuring stakeholders and project manager communication is maintained.

  • Own end-to-end execution of project steps from to ensure smooth delivery.

  • Collaborate with senior business leaders to create key management presentations for various audiences

  • Ensure engagement of all required stakeholders through clear communication and rigorous oversight of assigned work.

  • Monitor deliveries from assigned stream leads.

  • Appropriately assess risk when decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in similar position

  • 1+ years managing projects and initiatives spanning across multiples areas

  • Experience with projects in Banking would be a considerable advantage in particular regarding client migrations, introduction of new product offering etc.

  • Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders

  • Excellent time management, follow-through, and project delivery skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to simplify complexity

  • CAPM, PMP, PQMP or MBA are a plus

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

  • This is a replacement position for a person on leave, fixed term contract for 1 to 1.5 year with opportunities to move to permanent position after 1 year, where open vacancies occur
