Currently we are looking for a person for the position: Market Access Manager in Poland
Place of work: Warsaw
Tasks and responsibilities:
Management on applying for reimbursement for products of Boehringer Ingelheim, including among others: Preparation of applications to obtain reimbursement and/or set up statutory price, Supervision on preparation of health technology assessment analysis, Management on internal price database for Boehringer Ingelheim products, Creation of business cases for products from Boehringer Ingelheim portfolio
Monitoring of updates of reimbursement list and preparation of analysis of changes on the list for company products as well as products of competition
Monitoring of legislation in health care as well as current trends on pharmaceutical market.
Delivering relevant expertise and analysis for internal organization concerning health care sector - counsel GM and MT on new legislation in health care so that they are aware of the most important opportunities and risks and can make informed business decisions and respond to anticipated opportunities and risks in a timely manner
Administration of documentation database related to reimbursement and pricing; archiving of documentation
Building and maintaining cooperation with: Public administration, especially with the Ministry of Health, HTA Agency, National Health Fund, External service providers related to market access function, Regional organization in regards to related tasks and responsibilities, Other functions within organization (like marketing, medicine, sales and others), Local branch organizations such as EU INFARMA, Chamber of Commerce Farmacja Polska, Polish-German chamber of industry and trade AHK).
Requirements:
Expert with at least 6-7 years experience on health care market, public administration, pharma industry or consulting, with high analytical and interpersonal skills, ready to act in highly demanding and changeable environment
A degree from pharmacy, public health, medical, economics, public administration or similar to those is required. MBA studies will be of additional value
In depth understanding of healthcare policy, market access, HEOR, pricing & reimbursement policies and issues facing the pharmaceutical industry
Building strong business relationships with a network of politicians and policy makers from health care sector
Ability to prioritize work under pressure and deliver to agreed deadlines
Highly motivated, able to work independently and in a team
Maintain strict compliance with all applicable policies and laws, especially those related to interactions with government officials
Fluent English and Polish is mandatory in this role
