Your day at NTT DATA

The Infrastructure Design Engineer is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for designing and implementing information systems to support the enterprise infrastructure of the organization.

This role ensures that all systems are working at optimal levels and supports the development of new technologies and system requirements.

What you'll be doing

  • Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for OpenShift Container Platform.

  • Build, deploy, manage and support OpenShift containerized infrastructure.

  • Develop and maintain Ansible automation to deploy and manage OpenShift containerized infrastructure and applications.

  • Deploy and manage core infrastructure such as compute, storage, network, logging and monitoring.

  • Work closely with application teams and developers ensuring reliability, functionality and performance of container orchestration platform.

  • Engage in the containerized application lifecycle, design, development, operation and decommissioning.

Must Have Technical Skills:

  • Experience with Containers and Orchestrations (Docker, K8s, Rancher, Red hat OpenShift and RHACM, Bare metal).

  • Good hands on experience of managing Red hat OpenShift/Kubernetes cluster (3.x and 4.x)environment.

  • Installation and upgrade of OpenShift/Kubernetes using manual and automated approach.

  • Maintain and Develop Docker images/containers for different technology stack.

  • Automating the build of containerized systems with CI/CD tooling, Helm charts, and more. Managing deployments and rollbacks of applications.

  • Worked with Application teams to debug the issues and provide onboarding support.

  • Knowledge on Application & environment life cycle process.

Non-Technical Skills Required:

Strong customer and quality-focus is a must Sound problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making skills required. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills Excellent communication skills both written and oral English Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
