Citigroup Global Screening Operations Senior Analyst in Warsaw, Poland
Responsibilities:
Analyze and investigate customers who match against Sanctions and AML lists in accordance to global standard and policies, procedures and tools, aimed at meeting internal and external regulatory requirements.
Conducting searches, gathering data and recording evidence from Citi internal systems, the internet, commercial databases and inquiry with business or ICRM/ACRM contacts within Citi.
Operate within agreed business SLAs, productivity, quality and confidentiality standards.
Building and applying knowledge of Sanctions and AML screening processes and integrating in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices.
Operate across Citi geography and business lines.
Take part in implementation of new products and processes. Support in identification of technical/volume/data quality issues related to alert disposition process.
Address or escalate timely all issues affecting the operation as part of BAU such as backlogs, IT issues, capacity, etc. and give proper follow up until resolution.
Ensure effectiveness of control environment with MCA controls reaching effective results. In case of negative trending in the MCA controls, support in implementation and execute corrective action plan.
Qualifications:
English – both written and spoken.
12+ months of relevant experience in the field of Sanctions/AML/screening and/or similar.
Knowledge of AML regulations, Sanctions screening policies and standards.
Global Screening Operations experience and knowledge highly desirable.
Ability to multi-task & appropriately prioritize tasks.
Ability to work independently during challenging situations.
Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively to different audiences.
