Your New Role…

This position provides support for the Warner Brothers Discovery (WBD) International Finance team, the WBD International CFO organization, supporting consolidated financial reporting across the international Networks segment. This role provides support for regional finance and Segment FP&A teams on reporting & consolidation, coordination with Corporate FP&A and regional FP&A teams on calendars and deliverables, financial analysis, data management, operational review reporting and issue triage. The role supports preparation and review of Networks International consolidated operating results and financial reporting packages, Foreign Exchange reporting and analysis, flash reporting, trend reporting, and ad hoc analysis as required.

Your Role Accountabilities…

Liaison

  • Collaborate with regional CFO teams, Functional FP&A (Commercial & OPEX), Regional Segment FP&A (EMEA, LATAM, APAC), and Corporate FP&A on forecast and budget process and deliverables including target tracking and gap reporting

  • Liaise with Networks FP&A and Strat Finance teams on International specific matters including foreign exchange analysis and discrete segment performance queries and analysis

  • Liaise with WBD’s financial system support team and system support teams to address reporting and system changes that will impact segment reporting activities.

  • Ensure timely delivery of Management and Corporate reporting and the subsequent adherence to corporate deliverable dates

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Manage the consolidation of International Networks reporting to produce timely and accurate financial results, including variance analysis, and communication of actual to forecast results to finance leadership. Identify trends, significant transactions, and financial performance as necessary to understand and facilitate communication of business unit financial statements to the WBD International CFO, and Corporate FP&A.

  • Prepare value-added ad hoc financial reports and analysis as appropriate.

  • Serve as a liaison between segment FP&A (International Consolidations), corporate finance, and shared services Accounting and GBS teams, specifically related to the monthly close process. Ensure issues are resolved, and business matters are communicated, on a timely basis.

  • Oversee preparation of monthly foreign exchange reporting and analysis to identify forecast R&O and coordinate communications across senior leadership, WBD International, Divisional FP&A, and Functional FP&A teams to explain performance drivers.

  • Manage matrix driven reporting needs providing both system expertise and thought leadership for initiatives including S4 and other transformational systems projects

  • Lead the preparation and ongoing development of other recurring and adhoc reporting schedules.

  • Perform meaningful business analysis to provide leadership insights.

  • Drive process improvement initiatives and reporting changes required by the organization. Propose changes to the reporting as appropriate to maintain the relevance of the information presented.

  • Coordinate with BU teams on system data input and management

Qualifications & Experience…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

  • CPA or MBA or graduate degree in related field highly preferred.

  • Minimum of 6+ years relevant work experience

  • Advanced knowledge and experience with key accounting principles and concepts, financial analysis and reporting. Experience with Hyperion is a plus.

  • Strong written, oral and presentation skills; effective communicator at all levels of the organization; ability to influence others.

  • Strong leadership skills with a mindset to develop a team and drive results.

  • High level of executive presence with strong interpersonal and problem resolution skills, and a high degree of integrity, tact and diplomacy.

  • Active communicator, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across the organization and across multiple locations.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
