Job overview:

AniCura, as part of Mars Veterinary Healthcare, is rapidly growing through organic growth and acquisitions across Europe. As a New Markets Integration Accountant, you will play a vital role in the Finance Team during an exciting phase of growth.

You will actively support our activities in New Markets with various integration activities, general accounting, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures, as well as periodical financial planning and financial transformation projects.

Description:

  • Job Title: Finance Integration Specialist

  • Department: Finance

  • Reports To: Integration Lead and be part of the CEE (Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Czech and Slovakia) cluster Finance Team.

  • Location: Warsaw (Poland) [Hybrid]

  • Languages : Proficient in English and Polish

  • Contract: Full Time

    Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Participate in pre-and post-acquisition finance activities to ensure smooth financial integration and data reliability of newly acquired clinics

  • Collaborate with various departments (M&A, P&O, Treasury, Accounting) to meet demands of key stakeholders and fully onboard acquisitions into financial ecosystem of the Group

  • Overview data quality and ensure all data provided by external accounting providers is reconciled

  • Deliver processes and controls to align with Group requirements

  • Prepare and post ledger journals, participate in a period close financial review

  • Prepare acquisition related documents, such as the purchase price allocation, opening balance sheet and other relevant calculations along with required adjustments

  • Supporting ad hoc accounting activities within our CEE Accounting department

  • Building a strong work relationship with the local operations teams (clinic Heads) - supporting local accounting cases/questions

    Position Requirements

  • At least 4 - 6 years of professional experience gained in the fields of Accounting, Audit and/or M&A Integration

  • Experience working in a large organization with a Shared Service Center structure

  • Ability to analyze large data sets and work under time constraints in a matrix organization

  • Experience with the accounting period closing process for the distributed data structures

  • Fluency in English language is a must (daily communication with the Group and key stakeholders)

  • Experience working within Oracle financial environment

  • Advanced MS Office/Excel abilities
