EMEA Client Finance Manager

About the Role:

As an EMEA Client Finance Manager, you will act as a finance business partner, providing insightful and influential analysis to aid management in making well-informed commercial decisions. Your role will involve challenging the business to identify opportunities for improvement, such as streamlining expenditures to maximize profits and enhance financial performance. As a trusted partner, you will engage with multiple functions across client accounts within CBRE

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare insightful reporting and analysis on monthly financial performance to support management decision making, and identify significant trends/issues, e.g. monitor performance against forecast and pipeline & provide sound variance commentary.

  • Oversee the financial processes (billing, accruals, MEC etc.) and ensure the impact to the account financials are closely monitored and addressed.

  • Provide finance business partner support to operations team and directors, with financial insights and understanding of key drivers and trends influencing the account.

  • Analyze sales/margins - volume, price, mix vs. forecast – identify issues, recommend actions, measure outcomes.

  • Lead and improve the budgeting and forecasting processes including agreeing, reviewing, challenging commercial targets with business/department leads.

  • Manage ongoing forecasting and finance review to ensure commercial risks and opportunities are highlighted.

  • Coordinate and lead the annual financial planning process.

  • Provide baseline modelling and scenario testing for new business opportunities.

  • Drive margin enhancement initiatives.

  • Assist with commercial proposals, support the sales, pricing and transition teams on RFP (tender) process.

  • Develop and improve accounting & control processes to ensure that results are reported appropriately and on a timely basis.

  • Drive the monthly business performance management process with senior management, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of information.

  • Monitor and partner with client to ensure a healthy AR position is maintained and resolving disputed invoices.

  • Monitor and partner with payables team to ensure all vendor payments are disbursed timely.

What You’ll Need:

  • Degree in finance/economy/accounting with minimum 5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of relevant experience and education will be considered

  • Business Level English proficiency

  • Experience in forecast and budget preparation

  • Good to have prior experience with financial data mining software (Eg. TM1)

  • Good to have prior experience in Commercial / Client Finance roles.

  • Good to have prior experience working in large, matrix style multi-national companies

  • Nice to have knowledge/experience in Real Estate business.

  • Strong Excel skill

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook & Teams.

  • Accurate, independent, proactive, solution-oriented attitude and team player

  • Engaged and committed to continual process improvements.

  • Strong communication skills with experience in presenting financial data to management.

  • Ability to work in a flexible working environment, especially when needed to join calls with US leadership at night when needed.
