Job Description
Custody Tax Manager within Custody Tax Operations Department, responsible for delivery of WHT Tax Reclaims.
Responsibilities:
This role requires merits related to processing WHT Tax Reclaims or processes related to global Custody Operations.
These activities include revisions of documentation, notifications and facilitating postings for Tax events across few EMEA jurisdictions.
Strong focus on continuous improvement and challenging the status quo aimed at process efficiency
Monitor project status and communicate effectively to key stakeholder project members, of any associated risks to the project
Manage and communicate timeliness and deliverables to all members of the team via Management structure
Communicate to senior managers the need for key procurement items
Provide status reports to include current and next action steps, tasks, documents and information
Drive culture of Innovation, Diversity and Proactiveness
Strong self-starter mindset is a must
Decision making in fast paced environment
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree Preferred, Tax Advisor qualifications or equivalent welcomed.
At least 5 years of relevant Experience within area of Tax Advisory or Custody/Asset Servicing Operations.
Good track record of role key success factors
Fluent English
