Job Description

Passionate about new product innovation and new ideas leveraging insights from Data? We are seeking a talented individual to join us in driving digital Transformation in our product and packaging innovation processes in Beauty Care team. Are you able to take abstract business requirements and turn those into actionable data pipelines and analytics platforms to unlock new insights? You will leverage your expertise in Azure to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and architectures. Your contributions will empower our organization to harness the power of data, enabling informed decision-making and fostering innovation.

Some project examples in this domain, but not limited to, include:

• Build interactive applications that leverage consumer feedback, product claims, and technical product analysis (including competitive sources). These applications aim to fortify product claims, spur innovative product ideas, expand patent space, and boost ideation processes - all focused on strengthening our SWOT analysis and core business proposition analysis.

• Leverage consumer habits data such as data from how they take a shower to unlock insights to develop the next best hair care and body wash innovation

• Use Machine Learning and AI to predict consumer behavior and enable formulators to improve our products formulas

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines on Cloud (Azure, GCP, AWS).

• Translate business requirements into product features.

• Implement data integration solutions to collect, process, and store data from various sources.

• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts and architects to understand data needs and deliver high-quality data sets.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the data lifecycle.

• Optimize data workflows for performance and cost-efficiency.

• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime.

• Contribute to the design and architecture of data storage and processing systems.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data engineering and cloud technologies, and apply them to improve our data infrastructure.

• Work in close collaboration with multifunctional and multinational teams within P&G.

Job Qualifications

• Proven experience in Python/PySpark and SQL/SparkSQL programming skills.

• Experience working with a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure – Azure and experience in Databricks is a plus)

• Knowledge and / or experience with using or building CI/CD tools.

• Knowledge of AAS, DAX and PowerBI front end.

• Experience with API integration and third-party services.

• Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.

• Knowledge of Agile SCRUM and DevOps methodologies.

• English proficiency and at least a bachelor’s degree.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Technical certifications in any major cloud are a plus.

• Proven experience in AI/Generative AI/Data Science projects is a plus
