Position Autosys Tech Lead will have global exposure, help to improve the global strategic direction, collaborate with global peers in the technical aspects vertically within Batch Management team, and create exciting new growth opportunities by cooperating with other global support organizations i.e. Command Center, Change Control, the Architecture and Engineering group and global Application development to name a few.

Team/Role Overview

Batch Management supports over 100 servers (DEV/UAT/PROD) hosting 60 Autosys instances. Autosys is used by all types of business within Citigroup for automation of distributed Batch Processing. Team has a presence in all regions: EMEA, NAM, LATAM, ASPAC. Incumbent will operate in a global support role with multiple skills, tools and technology, servicing multiple customers. You will have the opportunity to move into any other technology support area with CTI. The Batch Management support role is a technical position and therefore all skills proven are transferable to any other technical positions.

What you’ll do

You will act as a member of the Batch Management team that supports the infrastructure, tools, products and processes used in Distributed Batch Scheduling. You will be a member of the multi-disciplinary team that supports all Citi lines of businesses for services like User Acceptance Testing, Production Job Scheduling, Workload Automation and solutions development. We will assist all new application and support teams on on-boarding new users. We will also drive User Pilot Programs & Presentations, build user-community training/end user and craft self-service training materials. You will identify process improvement areas and initiate steps to improve on these areas and where possible - automate.

  • Advocates of the global strategy by developing our highly-collaborative workforce to use global standard tools and processes.

  • Understand, design, and build monitoring tools for Distributed Batch Scheduling.

  • Build and deploy scripts and procedures to support the automation of tasks and processes as well as self-service capabilities for our internal partners.

  • Provide 24*7 follow the sun support for critical production problems on batch scheduling and automation solutions.

  • Delivery of work you're doing within the scheduled time with high quality.

  • Develop partnerships with customers, handle expectations, customer concerns and vendor engagements.

  • Communicate and carry out compliance to the policies, standards, procedures to users in handling change requests

  • Drive transformation/lean efforts that will optimize business operations and improve current process efficiency and effectiveness

What we’ll need from you

  • Autosys working knowledge at a senior technical level.

  • Proven experience within a large computing organisation with a knowledge of a number of the products.

  • Be assertive but diplomatic, tenacious, with a strong desire to see things through to completion and remain focused

  • Show ability to work in a high volume, pressurised, financial organisation.

  • Express ability to take ownership and accountability for activities under your control

  • Show Commitment to the concept of Service Delivery
