HOURS: All shifts as assigned SALARY: $23.26 - $29.55 per hour

DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: Under supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse will assist with the care of acutely ill patients and provides nursing care for convalescent and chronically ill patients. May supervise auxiliary nursing staff such as aides and attendants. The LPN will perform routing nursing activities in the care and treatment of patients.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Completion of a course of study approved by the New York State Education Department as qualifying for Licensed Practical Nurse, AND
B. Eligibility for a New York State Practical Nurse License. Possession of the license at the time of permanent appointment.
*Current openings available in the Skilled Nursing Facility, Operating Room, Emergency Room and Medical-Surgical Unit.

Degree(s) must have been awarded by a college or university accredited by a regional, national, or specialized agency recognized as an accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education/ U.S. Secretary of Education.
