Johnson & Johnson's Supply Chain Finance Organization is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial leadership to the DePuy Synthes business unit located in Warsaw, IN. In this role, the candidate will provide financial support to Warsaw’s manufacturing facility.

The individual will report to the Warsaw Plant Controller and will provide financial analytics to the plant manager and plant leadership team. This senior analyst is responsible for leading their business partners through business planning, periodic budget updates, and ad hoc requests to support company objectives. This position is also responsible for weekly and monthly plant metric reporting to senior management, BVA analysis, monthly financial closes, and technical analysis involving cross-functional leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the general ledger through month end close responsibilities including the preparation and posting of journal entries and account reconciliations

  • Coordinate the development of plant budgets and mid-year financial forecasts

  • Analyze, interpret, and clearly communicate financial and non-financial variances and plant metrics

  • Translate shop floor activities and decisions into financial implications to the business

  • Business partnership with cross functional site leadership to drive improved financial performance

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. Accounting, Finance, or Economics is preferred.

  • Minimum of three years Finance, Accounting, or related Business Experience required.

  • Professional Certification (CMA, CPA) and/or MBA preferred.

  • Must possess excellent analytical skills and presentation skills.

  • Healthcare Industry experience is preferred.

  • Intermediate to advanced skills using MS Excel is required (i.e.: formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions).

  • SAP experience preferred.

  • Data visualization experience preferred.

  • Must be able to effectively challenge business partners and propose alternative solutions.

  • This position may require up to 5% travel.
