Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing materials and products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods
Record and analyze test data and inspection results
Ensure products meet established quality standards and specifications
Identify and report any non-conformances or defects
Collaborate with the production team to address quality issues
Maintain and calibrate inspection and testing equipment
Document quality control activities and maintain records
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a Quality Technician or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and standards
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to use measuring tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
