Job Description:

VAXCOM, A Parsons Company, is looking for an amazingly talented Mission Support Officer support our Customer’s dynamic, challenging, and evolving mission requirements as a member of their Cloud Service Desk Team.

Mission Support Officers perform duties as a Cloud Service Desk Operator utilizing subject matter expertise and advanced knowledge of logistical operations, systems and networks, and complex functional issues in order to provide full lifecycle tactical and strategic support, guidance, and property management to the Sponsor. Cloud Service Desk Team Members research, procure, manage, and synthesize large amounts of property data, information, and equipment in support of a variety of operational and intelligence priorities.

This position requires a current/active TOP SECRET security clearance with FULL SCOPE polygraph

What You'll Be Doing:

Must be able to work independently in an extremely fast paced warehouse environment in support of a high priority, evolving, and expanding Program

Must be a strong team player with exceptional customer service and communication (written and verbal) skills

Should be proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer usage in an office/warehouse environment as well as technical proficiency in computer network design and system architecture

Must have experience in logistical processes including inventory management, packaging, shipping, and documentation

Must be able to independently lift items up to 50 pounds

Will manage procurement processes with Cloud Services Providers (CSP), the Program Office and Vendors in the areas of procurement, shipping, accountable property, deployment, and property disposal

Will ensure Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Statement of Work (SOW) with Vendors and the Program Office is adhered to and that pricing model, lead time, ordering quantities, shipping terms, and delivery expectations are achieved. On a regular basis recommend Vendor price model changes and procurement processes improvement

Will be working with Vendors’ logistics team, the Program Office, and other program personnel to maintain an accurate CONUS & OCONUS inventory of accountable property and reconcile discrepancies as needed

Will monitor and expedite materials and services captured in internal system databases to ensure delivery dates are fulfilled and communicate delivery notification or lead-time changes to requestors

Will monitor required databases and respond promptly to new requirements; Control, disseminate and monitor ticket queues; and must manage competing priorities objectively with a focus on customer service and policy compliance

Will process requisitions for approvals and place requirements with prospective suppliers (to include the Sponsor’s logistics team in certain scenarios, using their internal acquisitions database)

Will track material requisitions and consumable orders through material tracking log; investigate and resolve issues affecting timely ordering of requirements

Will participate in device Test and Inspection (T&I) and upgrade processes and document results as required

Will act as a liaison and manage relationships with corresponding stakeholders, mission partners, vendors and the Program Office

Will respond to the Sponsor’s ad hoc needs and take lead for developing response strategies

A breakdown of functional roles as a percentage of job duties is outlined below:

Administrative (case management, procurement, inventory processes, report writing etc.) - 20%

Customer Service/Support - 30%

Traditional Logistics (actual packaging, shipping, receiving) -30%

Technical/COMSEC (loading key, test and inspection, etc.) - 20%

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph

Associates degree or greater in a STEM field or 4 years’ experience in a cloud related occupation

Three years working with policies and procedures specific to the IC/DoD COMSEC Material Control System (CMCS) storage, account management, and disposition of IC/DoD Cryptographic items

One year working with COMSEC Equipment

One year experience supporting DoD/IC requirements

Demonstrated experience working under tight deadlines

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Experience with relationship building/serving as a technical representative on behalf of the government to achieve objectives and communicate technical requirements

Previous experience operating a cloud service desk

KMI certified through the successful completion of NSA Management Client Operator training

Logistics and warehouse experience

COMSEC Custodian Experience

Familiarity with Sponsor’s crypto management tools (CARDS/iApp)

Minimum Clearance Required to Start:

Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph

Salary Range:

$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
