Description:

• Electrical Design of Control Panels

• Experience with SolidWorks/solid Edge 3D CAD Software.

• Work with Application Engineers to provide solutions for customers

• Review customer specification and apply existing design or custom designs to meet customer requirements.

• Assist the panel shop with questions regarding in-process designs

• Mechanical design of basic sheet metal components for panel mounting and housings.

• Experience with utility customers designing circuit breakers or other adjacent equipment such as breakers, reclosers, load breaker switches, tap changes or similar preferred

• Self-motivated, Ability to follow directions. Ability to read schematics and interpret drawings when necessary. Knowledge and use of hand tools. Safety Shoes which can be steel or composite toed. Ability to navigate through a computer. No traveling required in this temp position. Good attitude and proven good attendance record.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• BS or Associates degree in Electrical Engineering/Technologies with at least 3-5 years’ of experience or equivalent education and experience.
