Trumbull County Sanitary Engineer's Plant Maintenance Worker in Warren, Ohio
Under general supervision, installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in an industrial establishment by performing the following duties: Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine. Makes minor repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment. Cleans and maintains grounds and buildings at wastewater and pump stations Collects laboratory samples and takes readings when necessary. Maintains records and files of equipment and replacement parts; perform weekly; monthly and annual maintenance Performs the removal of solids Performs other related assigned duties including snow removal, ordering and purchasing parts. Responsible for keeping vehicle clean and waxed and overall maintenance.
