This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about process improvement, technology, and innovation to participate in strategic projects and gain hands-on experience in the commercial re/insurance industry.As a Process Engineering intern, you will work across insurance, reinsurance, and international operations to engineer processes, analyze data, and standardize solutions. You will work closely with IT and Data & Analytics teams and gain valuable insights into how automation and AI are transforming the re/insurance landscape. You will help solve challenging, complex problems and drive continuous improvement across the organization.Your Impact & Opportunity Key Responsibilities:Support Strategic Initiatives team in conducting current state analysis across various business units. Summarize team findings and recommendations for a wide audience.Identify metrics/KPIs to measure system performance and end-to-end processing efficiency. Work with Data & Analytics team to create report(s) and distribute to key stakeholders.Provide day-to-day support on strategic projects, collaborating with product, underwriting, technology, operations, actuarial, finance, and more.Understand, both functionally and technically, the existing automation portfolio and shadow the AI Engineering and IT teams in the development of new use cases. Demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
