Haleon NRM Analyst in Warren, New Jersey

In this role, the NRM Analyst will support the organization in driving net sales growth and other key business performance metrics. They will drive Revenue Management insights which will lead to fact-based and timely business recommendations for Customer Strategy, Marketing and Field Sales teams in the areas of Pricing, Promotion and Mix insights. The Analyst will also provide operational support focused on Trade Investment. In this role the Analyst will serve as the one point of contact for revenue management activities to field sales teams.

The Analyst will have superior analytic skills combined with strong business acumen and communication skills. The Analyst will apply these skills in their role by understanding key business issues and communicating timely and on-point analysis and actionable recommendations. They will also support the Revenue Management function through support of the Director of NRM, and the organization through monthly and quarterly tracking and analysis of revenue management initiatives across the cross-functional commercial teams.

Revenue Management Activity Assessment and Tracking

  • Support assessment and execute analyses driving ad hoc and commercial planning process potential opportunities.

  • Actively track, report and analyze execution of revenue management activities in financial plan.

  • Provide promotion, pricing and product mix analytics and reporting to cross-functional teams.

  • Help create, deploy and train associates on ROI, Net Sales inclusive of tools and processes.

Pricing Strategy and Execution

  • Support development of overall brand pricing architecture including existing, line extension and innovation pricing.

  • Support recommendation development and execution of pricing initiatives through analysis using key concepts of elasticity, pricing thresholds, and core elements of pricing strategy. This includes analytical support to Sales Team Leaders as necessary.

  • Drive analysis, tracking and execution and pricing initiatives including pass-through, measurement of key indicators of performance and recommended actions as necessary.

  • Provide singular and consistent price reporting.

Promotion Management

  • Support the development of promotional design guidelines.

  • Contribute to the development and recommendations for promotional guidelines based on identified insights and patterns.

  • Conduct promotional event level ROI analysis by account and/or by brand. Present those findings and work collaboratively with Customer Strategy and Sales Teams leaders to make recommendations on adjusting promotional calendars to meet Company goals.

  • Provide Customer Strategy and account teams with pre-promotional ROI insights that will help drive investment decisions.

Active Mix Management

  • Monitor and evaluate product mix relative to sales and profitability.

  • Provide mix insights for internal business planning and opportunities.

  • Support the ongoing management and maintenance of the Active Mix Management Tool.

Trade Investment Management

  • Support the ongoing management and maintenance of the Customer Segmentation Tool.

  • Identify opportunities to optimize deployment of trade funds based on post-promotion analysis.

  • Liaise with Sales Finance team members to reconcile Trade Architecture Performance metrics.

  • Work with Revenue Management, Sales Finance, Customer Strategy and Customer teams to support the trade funding models.

  • Support Trade Strategy Manager and Sales Finance with business insights and learnings.

  • Contribute to the analysis and reporting of trade investment and net sales reporting.

  • This role is based in Warren, NJ, and follows a hybrid model, requiring a 2-3 day in-office presence

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Finance).

  • Strong communication skills with excellent collaboration and influencing ability.

  • Experience performing complex data analytics including identifying, analyzing, interpreting and developing insights and recommendations from diverse data sources.

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Experience with Microsoft PowerBI and other reporting tools.

  • Experience with Circana/IRI and/or Nielsen.

  • Ability to work with large amounts of and derive clear insights from the data.

  • Present insights to varying audiences in an impactful way.

Salary range for this role is $ 96,512 - $132,705 USD + bonus
