Our client, a leading innovator in the Manufacturing industry, seeks a Controls Engineer to join their growing team. As a Controls Engineer, you'll be part of the Engineering department supporting Production and Robotics teams. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a passion for innovation and a collaborative spirit that will thrive within our dynamic organization.

Job Title: Controls Engineer

Location: Warren, MI

Pay Range: $ 40-55/hr (based on experience)

What’s the Job?

• Lead new program implementation from concept to launch, including design, construction, and integration of controls and robotics systems.

• Ensure successful plant installation and continuous improvement of equipment and tools for high-quality parts production.

• Manage project schedules and deliverables, providing regular reports to senior management.

• Offer technical expertise and guidance to less experienced engineers.

• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and drive solutions.

What’s Needed?

• 5-7 years of experience as a Controls/Robotics Engineer.

• Strong understanding of electrical/control systems and their application in manufacturing.

• Proven experience with PLC and HMI programming, Ethernet/Devicenet networks, servo motors, and motion control.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and demonstrate initiative.

• Proven project management skills and a track record of success in diverse controls and robotics projects.

• Proficiency in using computers, interpreting technical drawings, and learning new systems.

• Self-motivated with a talent for multitasking.
