job summary:

We have a 12 month contract for an Implementation Specialist for Cardiology PACS Systems. This role is fully remote but must work 8 AM to 5 PM EST, with some flexibility.

Job Description:

The Implementation Specialist will be responsible for the implementation of Cardiology PACS systems. This role is under the Clinical Imaging department and will involve interactions with stakeholders and team members from an IT standpoint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in the evaluation, implementation, and support of platforms, products, and environments that support the clinical imaging space.

  • Understand emerging trends and technologies in healthcare.

  • Interact with stakeholders and team members from an IT standpoint.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in radiology or cardiology.

  • Knowledge and skill set for supporting platforms, products, and environments that support the clinical imaging space.

  • Understanding of emerging trends and technologies in healthcare.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in radiology or cardiology is desired but not mandatory.

Job Summary: The Clinical Imaging Analyst will be responsible for managing and resolving incidents and break-fix requests related to cardiology PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System). This role involves working in a ticket queue, providing customer service, and collaborating with various stakeholders, including doctors and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ticket Management: Handle incidents and break-fix requests from multiple ministries with diverse architectures and applications.

  • Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous support to end-users, including doctors.

  • Analytical Skills: Utilize critical thinking and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

  • System Expertise: Work with various imaging applications and reporting systems, including Merge, GE, Philips, and McKesson.

  • Communication: Effectively communicate with vendors for technical support and escalate issues as needed.

  • Prioritization: Prioritize responsibilities and manage stress in high-pressure situations, such as when critical systems are down.
