Aston Carter Administrative Analyst in Warren, Michigan

Job Title: Administrative Analyst

Job Description

This individual will work with a group of Engineering Managers, Engineers, and Technicians to support daily office operations and ensure organizational compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administrative support to our U.S. Army customer.

  • Support U.S. Army Engineering and Technical personnel in coordinating travel (utilizing DTS), training (utilizing TEDs), and employee attendance and time tracking (utilizing ATAAPS).

  • Evaluate a multitude of initiatives, including collecting inputs and reporting on organizational tasks.

  • Stay updated on administrative practices and clerical procedures, implementing new or revised procedures for correspondence, filing, mail procedures, preparation of travel orders/vouchers, and security.

  • Support organizational OPSEC training and compliance.

  • Provide advice and counsel regarding visit requests, mission travel requirements, and travel arrangements.

  • Assist with booking flights and travel, and track employee attendance and out-of-office status.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 3+ years of administrative experience (5 years preferred).

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Experience supporting upper-level management.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to pass Government Security Clearance.

  • U.S. Citizenship required.

  • Experience in finance, reporting, and data analysis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with administrative support within a government organization.

  • Experience working with Department of Defense systems (DTS, TEDs, ATAAPS).

  • Experience with DD 1149 forms.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, people-oriented, and well-organized.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Comfortable communicating with upper management.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a hybrid schedule with an office setting when onsite. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, with a 40-hour work week. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00
