Actalent Project Engineer in Warminster, Pennsylvania

Job Description

Provide engineering support and leadership for projects including capital, process & product development, and research & development within the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Project engineering/management including developing scope of work, engineering drawings, technical specifications, schedule, and job costing.

  • Research alternatives and recommend optimal solutions to assigned projects

  • Manage equipment suppliers, internal resources and outside vendors and contractors to meet project goals

  • Communicate continually with management on project plans and status

  • Ensure a safe and proper work environment by compliance with Company, OSHA, SQF, local, state, and federal standards and regulations.

  • Perform high level troubleshooting to optimize efficiency, safety, quality, and downtime

  • Provide equipment and process support to manufacturing

  • Train and instruct maintenance, production and quality personnel

Qualifications

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering

  • 3+ years of experience in a high volume manufacturing environment

  • 3+ years of experience with overseeing capital projects including design, timeline, and budget

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software

  • Well versed with process improvement

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Warminster, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

Typical work hours are M-F 7:30am to 4:30pm.
