Job Description Summary Ensures Processing/Packaging equipment & surrounding areas are kept in a clean, sanitary & safe condition at all times. Job Description Duties and Responsibilities: Cleans and sanitizes all areas in a safe, timely and skilled manner to meet Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures. Understands, utilizes, and follows all SSOP's. Follow LO/TO procedures at all times. Must be able to work in hot or cold environments. Must be able to effectively communicate in English both in written and oral form. Must work safely at all times. Must behave in a professional manner at all times. Performs other functions as directed by Sanitation Team Lead, Sanitation Specialist, Sanitation Lead or Team Leads. broom, squeegee, shovel, buckets, wheelbarrows, and high pressure, water hoses, lock out/tag out (LOTO) materials, scissor lift, osculating broom, and foaming units, etc. Personal protective equipment (PPE) that team members will be required to use includes but is not limited to: Rubber gloves, wet suit, goggles, face shields/safety glasses, and steel-toed rubber boots. Basic & Preferred Qualifications Education and/or Experience High school diploma or the equivalent is required. Experience desired but not required. Language Skills Ability to effectively communicate in English in both written and oral. Mathematical Skills Ability to add , subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent Computer Skills Basic computer skills. Physical Demands Must walk on various surfaces where water is frequently used to rinse equipment. Slick areas exist due to the presence of potato matter, starch, and grease. To reach some areas of the plan, team member must climb stairs and/or ladders, use man lifts, and walk on cat walks. Must have good hand-eye coordination. Must have normal finger dexterity and range of motion. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds on frequent basis. Must be able to push and pull heaving items on occasion. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Work Environment Regularly work near moving mechanical parts and vibration. Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions as well as extreme heat and cold environments May be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic, caustic, acid based or chlorinated chemicals.
