Key Responsibilities and Expectations
United Health Services (UHS) is seeking an excellent physician for a clinic on the campus of a critical-access hospital, on the western edge of the Catskills, in beautiful Walton and Downsville, New York.
This traditional inpatient/outpatient practice is set in a friendly town where your patients are your neighbors. A strong sense of community is fostered and treasured. The primary care practice consists of family medicine physicians, advance practice providers and a full-time psychiatric nurse practitioner. The practice is located adjacent to the hospital — a 25-bed medical and short-term rehab unit, with a 24/7 Emergency Department. Ancillary services available on site-include: lab, cardiopulmonary and imaging services. Both inpatient and outpatient PT,OT, cardiac and pulmonary rehab also available. On-site outpatient pharmacy. Call: One to two 9-hour periods per week. Competitive salary guaranteed and full benefits, CME stipend, vacation and paid occurrence-based malpractice.
UHS is a community-owned, not-for-profit organization operating 500 beds: Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center (the area’s Level II Trauma Center), Binghamton General Hospital, Chenango Memorial Hospital, Delaware Valley Hospital, Professional Home Care and Ideal Senior Living Center. Teaching opportunities are available with the UHS Family Practice and Internal Medicine residents, Endocrinology, Geriatrics and Sports Medicine fellows, transitional year students, as well as 3rd and 4th year medical students on rotation from Upstate Medical University.
Must be board certified/eligible.Completion of an ACGME accredited residency.
Salary Range: $259,200 - $323,900 annually
