Warehouse Associate

Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for picking and packing parts into boxes and loading them onto pallets. They may also operate equipment such as forklifts to transport materials throughout the warehouse. Additionally, candidates with assembly experience may be required to assist in the assembly department during slower periods.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack parts into boxes

• Load boxes onto pallets

• Operate forklifts to move pallets throughout the warehouse

• Transport materials within the warehouse

• Assist in the assembly department as needed

Essential Skills

• General labor

• Order selecting

• Picking parts

• Packing parts in proper boxes

• Scanning parts to ensure accuracy

• Material handling

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift certification is a plus

• Experience moving large objects is a plus

• Inventory experience is a plus

• Willingness to learn new skills

• Must be versatile and willing to move around the warehouse

Work Environment

This is a large facility that is currently expanding with new machines and equipment. While part of the warehouse is not completely finished, candidates must be comfortable being part of a growing company.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Walton, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00
