Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a press brake, reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics, and operating various machinery such as shears, tube lasers, and sheet lasers. You should be comfortable working in a team environment and be open to performing other job tasks as needed. Additionally, you will be required to perform setups and changeovers on all machinery and utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a press brake

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics

• Operate shears, tube lasers, and sheet lasers

• Work effectively in a team environment

• Perform additional job tasks as required

• Perform setups and changeovers on all machinery

• Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges

Essential Skills:

• Experience with press brake operation

• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics

• Machine operation skills

• Experience with shears and lasers

• Knowledge of CNC and punch press operations

• Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience as a Laser Operator

Work Environment:

You will be working in a large fabrication shop. While the facility is not temperature-controlled, it is a well-maintained and pleasant environment.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract-to-Hire position based out of Walton, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
