Job Title: Hi-Temp Floor Operator

Job Description

Maintain inventory accountability. Perform cycle counts on all items on a monthly basis. Perform spot checks as needed in case of discrepancies. Operate warehouse equipment including forklift, manual/electric pallet jacks, and scrubber. Load and unload material utilizing hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment. Accurately maintain daily check sheets on equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory accountability.

  • Perform cycle counts on all items on a monthly basis.

  • Perform spot checks as needed in case of discrepancies.

  • Operate warehouse equipment including forklift, manual/electric pallet jacks, and scrubber.

  • Load and unload material utilizing hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment.

  • Accurately maintain daily check sheets on equipment.

  • Support daily and weekly Milk runs, including but not limited to RFPC Hardware, Production consumables, Critical Maintenance spares, and Calibration gases.

  • Ensure items that need quality inspection are addressed, segregated, and put away in a timely manner.

  • Store received maintenance items promptly.

  • Transfer parts between warehouses in the system (SAP).

  • Ensure physical deliveries of torque tubes to WB.

  • Prepare needed items for Production and Maintenance work orders.

  • Prepare, package, weigh, and measure items for shipment requests (SAP Purchase orders and SharePoint).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Maintain a clean and organized shipping receiving dock and warehouse area (5S).

  • Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures.

  • Assist Operations as assigned for material movement requests.

  • Assist with removal of Trash hoppers, Quality scrap, Rejected Disks, and Recycle collection units.

  • Perform other related duties as required.

  • At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in Manufacturing or operating equipment.

  • Experience with computers for data entry.

  • Willingness to help out and keep the department clean and organized.

Work Environment

The facility is housed in a newer building with many upgrades. The Carbon Department is in a climate-controlled area, although some sections with furnaces can get hot. The role requires working a 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule that rotates every 8 weeks (6am-6pm and 6pm-6am).

This is a Contract position based out of Walton, Kentucky.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
