Pega is changing the way the world builds software. In this role you will provide testing services for the Digital Center of Excellence SCRUM team in IT. You will be leading quality testing efforts for our latest Blueprint product that is changing the way that Pega does business. You will be responsible for overall quality of the Digital sites and applications creating test plans, test cases, regression test suites, and driving test automation initiatives. You will work collaboratively with the India QA team members, technical leads, software engineers, product owners and business users to ensure quality deliveries of value to the business. ​

What You'll Do at Pega:

  • Lead testing initiatives and coordinate QA testing activities for sprint deliveries across the Digital sites and applications

  • Participate in sprint grooming, test planning, product reviews and other ad hoc meetings to ensure quality releases for Blueprint and other Digital applications and sites

  • Responsible for converting requirements into test design, test cases and test execution for the products new features

  • Create and execute test plans and provide feedback on the overall quality of the application

  • Perform manual and automated test execution for new product features with complete test coverage

  • Work collaboratively with the SCRUM team and India QA Manager to ensure adequate resourcing across projects to meet deliverables and timelines.

  • Work with the automation team to prioritize new test creation for sites and applications and provide metrics on test coverage and progress

  • Continuously improve the quality verification process and own and update the QA best practices and standards

Who You Are:

  • 9+ years of in-depth QA Engineering experience

  • 1-2 years of experience leading a team directly or indirectly and/or coordinating QA testing activities

  • Agile/Scrum development methodology knowledge/experience

  • Experience with testing in a CMS environment (Content Management Systems)

  • Experience in Atlassian products (JIRA, Xray, Confluence, etc.)

  • Skilled in implementation and execution of cross browser testing plan (windows, OSX, iOS, Android)

  • Knowledge of API testing, web technologies (HTTP, web services, HTML/CSS)

  • Experience with performance monitoring, measurement, and tuning of web sites and web applications

  • Able to work effectively with diverse stakeholders including technical leads, business users, and executive management

  • You have worked on change management of software components and packages including defect/issue reporting and tracking

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a focus on product quality and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams to achieve results

  • Skilled at working effectively with diverse stakeholders including technical leads, business users, and executive management

  • Familiar with OOP, Java, and XML and have exposure to Web-Services, WSDL, SOAP, MQ, JMS and Oracle/MSSQL/DB2 related tools.

  • Familiarity with GenAI concepts and methods is a Plus

What You've Accomplished:

  • IT, QA Team Lead skilled at coordinating testing efforts with both onshore and offshore QA Engineering resources

  • Experience in converting requirements into test design, test cases and test execution for the product’s new features

  • Experience in development and implementation of comprehensive and integrated testing plans

  • Experience in testing Content Management systems

  • Agile/Scrum development methodology experience and deep knowledge of the SDLC process

  • Experience/knowledge on test automation frameworks, as well as load, performance and security testing

  • Demonstrated history of a passion for quality and scalable quality assurance operations

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and display adaptability

  • Strong experience in managing quality releases in an assertive, fast-growing, dynamic IT organization
