Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a qualified Secret Junior Network Engineer in support of one of are large federal clients in Wallops Island, VA. This candidate will be supporting and be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our clients growing network infrastructure. Their day to day will include but is not limited to:

  Set up network devices: Install and configure routers, switches, and firewalls.

  Adhere to security guidelines: Ensure compliance with DoD Security Technical Configuration Guides (STIGs).

  Monitor network performance: Regularly check and maintain network health.

  Troubleshoot issues: Respond to and resolve any network performance problems.

  Update network documentation: Keep network diagrams and documentation up to date.

. Maintain training and certifications: Stay current with necessary training and certifications for the technologies we use.

Compensation:

$45k to $65k per year annual salary.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

Associate degree in Information Systems, Network Administration, Network Security, or a related degree (four years of experience in leu of degree)

 2+ years of hands-on network engineering experience

 Hands-on experience with routers/switches/firewalls

 DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or Level III Certification required.

 Active DoD Security Clearance null
