We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our team in Hartford County, Connecticut, as a vCIO. In this function, you will be engaging with clients at an executive level and taking an active role in long-term technology planning, while also serving as an advocate for the client internally and as a trusted advisor externally.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain relationships with executive-level contacts at each assigned client, understanding their business goals, needs, and challenges.

• Serve as a consultant to clients, guiding them in adopting our technology solutions and supporting their technology investments.

• Lead the contract renewal process for each client assigned and identify opportunities to expand our service scope.

• Clearly communicate to clients about their technology risks and liabilities, and document their decisions to manage these risks.

• Respond to client communications, redirecting them to the appropriate resources as needed, and provide timelines or schedule future meetings to address their needs.

• Develop and progress the technology roadmap and IT budget for each client assigned, reviewing these with the client and guiding solution selection.

• Support prioritization, management, forecasting, renewal, and delivery of solutions to assigned clients.

• Assist in onboarding new clients, setting expectations, and building relationships with key decision-makers.

• Schedule and prepare client-facing meetings for each client assigned and conduct these meetings to drive alignment with our standards.

• Maintain accurate documentation in internal systems and complete administrative tasks such as timesheets.

• Support relationships with clients and third-party providers, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service.

• Be flexible with travel and special events as needed.

• Understand and provide the business need and business outcome aspects required for the internal process to scope, estimate, and present solutions for the client.

• Maintain awareness and understanding of client industries sufficient to provide sound guidance on technology investment options.

Requirements • Must have at least 3 years of experience in a vCIO or similar role.

• Proficient in Cisco Technologies.

• Strong understanding of Cloud Technologies.

• Experience with Active Directory is essential.

• Must have auditing skills.

• Familiarity with Backup Technologies is required.

• Ability to handle Computer Hardware.

• Proficiency in Configuration Management is a must.

• Experience in Business process consulting is necessary.
