What you`ll do

Summary:

We are seeking a talented UI (Junior) Developer to join our German software logistic team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing easy-to-use SAP UI5 frontends for our two major tools in development - the Git enabled central transport system (gCTS) and the continuous integration lifecycle toolset (CILTS).

The Role:

As a UI (Junior) Developer you will discuss innovative requirements with our SAP internal stakeholders and customers, you will identify the appropriate solution design and implement the solution together with your scrum team members in a collaborative, agile and international approach.

You will work according agile software engeneering guidelines and put the user in the center.

What you bring

Education: Bachelor degree for example in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or other related fields.

Software Development Skills: Development expertise in object-oriented language(s). Knowledge and development experience in SAP UI5 is required. Experience in ABAP is an additional advantage.

Technology Skills: Demonstrate your interest and the experience you have gained so far in current technology trends, for example: expertise in cloud development processes, architecture and operations, web services, etc.

Personal Skills: Good analytical skills, collaboration and work in the team, time management.

Language Skills: Very good English and German skills - verbal and written.

Work Experience: Professional experience as a full stack software developer.

Lifecycle management of SAP products (transport, update, patch, upgrade installation....) is an essential part for the success of SAP products on the market, both in the classic on-premise business and in the cloud. Customers expect a "zero-impact" upgrade/update and trouble-free operation.

In the Software Logistic team, we have developed procedures to bring the majority of customers, on-premise and in the cloud, close to "zero" downtime with automated procedures. These solutions are generally available to SAP customers. We are seeing growing demand from SAP Customers and from internal SAP Business and therefore looking for experienced developers to join our team, to develop new features as well as support continuous improvement.
