What youll do
The Cyber Detect Organization is looking for an experienced IT Service Manager (f/m/d) to be an integral part of our innovative culture. This role will focus on executing a multi-year strategy to proactively, automatically, and continuously test and validate SAPs protection against and ability to detect the most relevant threats to the business.
As a part of the Threat Detection Engineering team, you will:
Lead Detection Engineering Service Management and coordinate with service owners
Build bridges and maintain relationships with the Lines of Businesses (LOBs/Product Groups)
Develop, track, and consistently improve executive-level metrics for program performance
Ensure the Detection Engineering team has the necessary security tools and resources to be effective
Support major detection activities
Drive Detect process improvements making Detection Engineering easier to engage, faster to respond and more effective and efficient in content management
Adopt a modern shift left mentality to find threats in real time
Own key objectives and work with our partners across the company
Role Requirements
We are looking for analytical, critical thinking, solution orientated problem solvers. You should be quick to learn, adapt, and operate in a large dynamic environment.
You will also need to have the following technical skills and experience:
5 years of related professional experience in IT Service Management
Proven vendor management and process improvement leadership
Working knowledge of detection methods and frameworks (e.g. ATT&CK, Sigma)
Experience with a CyberSecurity operational environment (SOC, JSOC, Fusion Center, Incident Response, NOC, Threat Intelligence)
Highly organized with the ability to lead meetings and engage stakeholders
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English language
Experience with Agile (SAFe Agile), Scrum, Program Increment (PI) Planning
Able to work in a global environment across multiple time zones

As a member of SAPs Global Security and Cloud Compliance organization, we are responsible for safeguarding data and assets using industry-leading methods for developing new detection capabilities and managing the detection lifecycle. Leveraging intelligence-driven threat assessments, the team proactively and continuously assesses susceptibility to attacker behaviors along with their tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) to control risk.
