About the team:

As a unit within SAP Products & Innovations and the Digital Supply Chain Organization, Manufacturing and Industrial IoT Engineering is providing innovative end-to-end solutions to run manufacturing operations in efficient, flexible, and robust way. The Development Team were we offering this position is a highly skilled and motivated team of product developer working on worldwide competitive level.

What youll do:

Position title: SAP DSC DMC Intern (f/m/d) Software Development Digital Manufacturing Cloud Practical Phase

Work Area: Software-Design and Development

Location: Walldorf

Expected start date: October 1, 2024

In this role, youll:

• You will learn what it means to be a professional product developer and would be able to apply your theoretical knowledge in a practical way.

• You will take part in all phases of the product development. You will participate to the Scrum Process and by that understand the full development process.

• You will contribute to the product with tests, code and you will create pull-request and by that push SAP's Digitals Manufacturing Cloud to the next level. By that you will learn every aspect of what it means to be an SAP developer.

• In addition, you will understand how development is connected and jointly works with product management.

• You will see and understand what it means to work in a world-wide connected development network of different teams on different continents.

• In addition, you will learn about the role of security in software making and how standard product requirements and other rules are applied to modern software products and service.

Who you are:

You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. Were looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious, with English language skills on C1 level (German is a plus).. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.

Note for Germany: currently the SAP Internship Experience Program is only open to interns and being hired into other contract types such as working students will preclude the candidate's participation in the program.
