What you`ll do:

As a (Junior) User Assistance Developer/ Content Designer (f/m/d) in the SAP Build Product Suite team, You will

  • Craft User-Centric Content: Create, design and test user assistance content like UI copy, documentation, tutorials, in-app help content, that guides users, reduces friction and empowers them.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Work closely with UX designers, product managers, and developers to integrate content seamlessly into the user experience, exchanging feedback on content structure, interaction design and assistance needs.

  • Conduct User Research: Engage with users to gather feedback, perform usability testing, and analyze data to continuously refine and improve content based on real user needs.

  • Maintain Content Quality : Regularly audit and update content to ensure it remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with evolving product features and business goals.

  • Champion Content Best Practices: Advocate for and implement content standards and best practices across the product team, helping to build a strong content design culture within the organization.

What you bring:

  • At least 2 years of proven experience in content design, UX writing, and user assistance, with a strong ability to simplify complex information.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a focus on clarity, consistency, and user-centric content.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and developers.

  • Experience conducting user research or usability testing to inform content decisions and improve user experience.

  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with the DITA standard.

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating content that truly helps and engages users.
