What youll do

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer (f/m/d) with a passion for innovative cloud platform topics and the field of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI). This role brings a unique opportunity to participate in shaping the future of AI capabilities across our Business Technology Platform (BTP) and requires a self-directed team player with deep cloud development knowledge.

Join our multi-disciplinary AI team, where you will be working closely with Developers, Architects, Product Managers and many others. You'll be immersed in an environment that fosters innovation, with plentiful opportunities for personal growth. Currently, the team is focusing on the development of the Business Agent Foundation which is a business-focused AI agent runtime as a service.

Your responsibility as a Full Stack Developer (f/m/d) is to:

• Contribute to the development of GenAI-based products and proof-of-concepts

• Work on product backlog items, ensuring functionality, high quality and scale, using test-driven development

• Collaborate with colleagues in a cross-functional team to ensure team success

• Develop both frontend and backend components

• Explore and assess new technologies in the field of GenAI

What you bring

• Excellent university degree in Computer Science or a related field

• At least 2 years hands-on experience in designing and building cloud-native applications, microservices and web applications

• Skilled with at least one strongly typed language. Experience in developing both backend (e.g. TypeScript/Node.js) and frontend (e.g. UI5/React) components

• Commitment to clean, scalable code and robust API design, with knowledge of Clean Architecture

• Ability to keep pace with GenAI technology shifts

• Familiarity with data-centric languages (e.g. Python), SQL databases, Natural Language Processing, Docker/Kubernetes, SAP CAP, and Git is beneficial

• Very good communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English

Tech you'll learn

AI Agents, Large Language Models (LLM), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), SAP AI Core and GenAI Hub, Vector Engines, LangChain and anything relevant that will come up in the field of GenAI.
