SAP Associate Developer (f/m/d) in S/4HANA Public Cloud in Walldorf, Germany

What you`ll do

As a developer you will work in a diverse team of highly motivated colleagues. Together we drive our product success in the cloud for business applications helping our customers worldwide to automate calculation and posting of taxes in a highly automated way and in compliance with tax regulations. The applications developed in our unit and team are an integral part of SAP's solution portfolio for Finance in the Cloud.

We practice an agile development approach following scrum methodology. As one of the developers you be part of a scrum team and apply agile software engineering principles.

Your responsibility will be covering all stages and tasks within the entire software development cycle. You will be involved in the definition of the requirements and take over responsibility for design, implementation, test and maintenance. There will also be the chance to take over other tasks based on need and considering your interests.

Furthermore, you will continuously enhance your knowledge and skills on the job while keeping up to date with latest trends.

What you bring

We expect a good Bachelor or Master degree in business informatics, computer science, natural sciences, information systems, economics or in any comparable field.

Further requirements are:

  • Strong programming skills in any common object oriented programming language (we are using ABAP Objects)

  • First experience with scrum and Agile Software Engineering (ASE) techniques like test-driven development, test automation via unit tests, pair programming, etc.

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Interest in financial business processes and willingness to build up domain knowledge over the time)

  • Fluent German and English language skills (verbal and written)
