New Jersey Resources is seeking a Manager Process Improvement and Automation to manage process improvement and automation activities, inclusive of partnering with finance and business units to identify and prioritize processes for improvement and supporting the developing streamlined solutions. Plan, manage and execute strategies related to robotics process automation ("RPA" or "BOTS") initiatives and process efficiencies in partnership with the Director of Finance Operations. Provides guidance and support on the broader efforts associated with Oracle ERP Master Data Management and Reporting.
Major Responsibilities:
• Set the strategy for process improvement and RPA automation efforts in partnership with the Director of Finance Operations.
• Partner with finance and business units to identify and prioritize processes for improvement and automation. Analyze current processes, identify bottlenecks, and develop streamlined solutions. Drive the implementation of finance process improvements and collaborate on Oracle ERP, Microsoft Power BI, and Power Automate initiatives.
• Oversee the RPA team and manage the process improvement and RPA pipelines.
• Manage the business and technical support requirements of the Automation Anywhere A360 platform.
• Report on the RPA program's status to senior management and develop metrics to measure performance and ROI.
• Work with business process owners to design new and enhance existing Bots. Ensure design documentation meets standards and leads to efficient automated solutions. Evaluate process improvement and automation use cases, including determining the appropriate personnel, appropriate automation tools, and additional support necessary for the effort.
• Ensure documentation accuracy through walkthroughs and updates.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and provide oversight on the assessment, design, and testing of new automations.
• Work closely with business units to ensure alignment and successful implementation of process improvements and or automation change.
• Provide guidance and support for Oracle ERP functionality changes.
• Drive adaptable automations that support internal stakeholders while maintaining a strong internal control environment.
• Support the expansion of Microsoft Power Platform within Finance. The responsibilities of this position may grow over time to support other activities as assigned.
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or information systems
• 3 years of leading business process enhancement initiatives
• 5 years of process automation and transformation experience
• 5 years of accounting/financial systems or similar experience preferred
• Strong leadership and influencing abilities with excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical skills to identify issues, synthesize insights and develop solutions
• Project management skills with demonstrated ability to design project frameworks and establish governance to ensure successful and timely deliverables
• Proactive and value-added mindset to ensure appropriate frameworks exist and continually evolve to support business/stakeholder goals, enhance ROIs, and improve user experience
• Solid understanding of Quality Process (Lean, Six Sigma) a plus
• Familiarity with robotics process automation
• Automation Anywhere A360 experience a plus

Position is hybrid: 3 days onsite in Wall Corporate Office, 2 days remote
