Community Mental Health Authority Home Based/Children's Therapist in Wakefield, Michigan
A full time (1.0 fte opportunity is available for a Home based Therapist as part of the Child/Family Services Team. This individual must possess strong, effective written and verbal communication skills, working knowledge of techniques and principles of child and family development, family systems theory, trauma-informed care, crisis intervention and individual, family and group therapy. In addition, must have the ability to work independently and with others to build therapeutic relationships with consumers and families and function as part of a team. The successful candidate must have a good clinical understanding of children and adult mental health/behavioral health conditions and the most current evidence-based practices used to treat various conditions.
