Description

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist based in Wakefield, Massachusetts. The role offers the chance to grow into a senior level AP role, is hybrid, and offers fantastic benefits. This role would oversee a range of duties related to the processing and management of invoices, supplier information, and expense reports for a client within the design and manufacturing industry. This role does not involve any temporary, full-time, or permanent specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Posting invoices into the system, ensuring accuracy and verifying account codes

• Receiving and sending non-purchase order invoices for department approval

• Resolving issues with invoices prior to payment

• Reviewing and auditing employee travel expense reports

• Setting up new suppliers and updating supplier profiles as necessary

• Verifying and maintaining all third-party banking information

• Reconciling third-party statements

• Generating weekly payment proposals

• Entering and reconciling all in-transit invoices at the end of the month

• Assisting with month-end closing and reporting

• Performing related duties as required

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Solid experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Ability to perform Check Runs efficiently

• Capability to handle Coding Invoices

• Strong Data Entry skills

• Experience in Invoice Processing
